“What it means is that by honoring the circumstances He (SWT) has placed me in, I am more equipped to worship from a place of acceptance and tawakkul (reliance on Allah) that is actually liberating instead of limiting. It is about succumbing to the position Allah has granted you.”

‎اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ I love this! This is really wild, but I’m also a new mom with a three month old this Ramadan and your post absolutely spoke to me. Amidst everyone’s Ramadan reflections, entering Ramadan in this new state of motherhood where things have definitely flipped on their heads, has been something to struggle through. I’ve been wanting to write my own reflection so far but it’s been a mess.

Thank you for sharing your reflections and insight—it’s genuinely validating in a way I didn’t expect I needed. Additionally, your writing is so enjoyable to read! I can’t wait to read your previous posts and the ones to come إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ May Allah grant barakat to your writing and to all your efforts and endeavors ‎امين 🤲

Wow! That's such a coincidence! First of all, congrats on the new bundle of joy :) Entering Ramadan during these early stages of postpartum when our babies are so tiny and dependent on us is a wild experience and many of the Ramadan reflections I've seen didn't speak to that *exact* experience. You should definitely share your own reflection, I'd love to read that — we definitely need the voices of more Muslim mothers sharing their journey iA. I'm so glad this post was relatable, may Allah make this Ramadan easy for you and bless you for all your efforts iA. Thank you for your kind words!
